Should I Change the Format?
Been wondering, not sure if I should revert hellgates back to the old informative site with the form instead of posting stories…
If you are reading this…what do you think?
Need some comments..
Thanks.

Hope that you guys/gals/ghosts enjoyed the first story.
Have you ever gone to a fren’s or relative’s house and felt so uneasy that you feel like leaving?
Not because you don’t like the owner, but as if something or someone in the house don’t welcome your presence?
The next story will attempt to explain why this is so….
The day is Sunday, 2006, 1 Jan.
Today is New Year’s Day, the time is 12.01am.
Mr Tan is on duty today at a neighbourhood hospital. His duty? To ensure the security and safety of the hospital premises and occupants…
Tan is a 65 years old man, tall, skinny but still healthy and strong at his age.
Though retired, he chose to take up the job of a security officer to pass time and earn some pocket money.
Every 3 hours, he must patrol the hospital premises to ensure that there is no strangers or any damage to the hospital property. His partner, Seng, will stay in the security office to keep an eye on the video screen.
“Seng, I ‘m going to do my rounds now…” said Tan as he picked up his torch.
“Ok, see u later, anything, just walkie me.”
His rounds will start with Ward 13, up the staircase to the top floor, where the storeroom is, down the stairs on the other end of the corridor, sign in on the log book outside the Fire Control Centre (FCC), through the garden to the cleaner’s store and back to the security office.
Tan always hated patrolling the premises in the wee hours….always felt as if something or someone is watching him as he patrol the corridors of the hospital.
As this Ward is closed for renovations, there is not a single soul in the whole building except for Tan and his partner. Occasionally, the cleaner will drop by to clean up the main lobby area.
The corridor echoes as Tan made his way through….due to cost cutting measures, only half of the lights are being switched on in the corridor, giving the whole place a sinister and eerie feel.
“Meow……………”
Tan was suddenly startled by the cries of a cat behind the door at the end of the corridor.
“There you are, Ginger. Where were you the whole evening?”
“Meow…”
“Come’on now, follow me back to the office and I will give you some food to eat.”
As Tan and Ginger walked towards the cleaner’s store, Ginger stopped dead in its tracks and start looking at something at a distance.
“What is it, Ginger?” said Tan as he tried to trace Ginger’s sight to the distance.
Suddenly, a rat ran past them.
“Haha, it is just a rat, Ginger” “Let’s go..”
Tan took out his keys and opened the door to the cleaner’s store.
Looked around the place, locked the door and started to go off.
As he was leaving, he heard a girl singing…
“There shouldn’t be anyone here at this time” thought Tan as he started to move faster…
The singing got louder and louder as Tan went further…as he started to run, he turned back to peep…
He saw a little girl sitting on the top of the cleaner’s room waving at him…..that was it….he ran ever faster.
Suddenly, he tripped and fell onto the ground. Struggling to climb up, he kept on running, running for his life towards the security office.
Before he could reach the main lobby, he “blacked out”.
The next day, Seng found Tan lying on the floor of the corridor at the top of Ward 13. Apprarently, he died of heart attack. When Seng found him, Ginger, the cat was sleeping at his side. The strangest thing was that, they found his torch in the garden, a few metres in front of the cleaner’s store.
If Tan was already dead in the Ward corridor, how did his torch find its way to the garden???
A committed person to his duties even to his last?
